Faith Hill said it......

Meditating does more than just feel good and calm you down, it makes you perform better - and alters the structure of your brain, researchers have found.

People who meditate say the practice restores their energy, and some claim they need less sleep as a result. Many studies have reported that the brain works differently during meditation -

Meditation is one of the most researched 'alternative' therapies and has been clinically proven to have a wide range of health benefits.

More and more doctors are recommending meditation as an effective stress buster and useful support for patients with many types of chronic and acute conditions

Research studies have shown that meditating for as little as fifteen or twenty minutes a day promotes improved mental and physical health and well-being.

Some of the benefits are :

  • Lower blood pressure
  • Boosted immune system
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Less anxiety and depression
  • Greater sense of fulfilment
  • Better emotional stability

Light and sound devices  and biofeedback systems can provide a fast track to meditation that is no less valid or effective than more traditional techniques. They're just a whole lot faster and easier.

Sometimes all meditation is freally, is taking time WHEREVER AND WHENEVEVR you are ALONE and have time to yourself to think and take in your thoughts. Have you ever walked through the park and just “taken it all in” and not thought about the next thing on your agenda? The flowers, the kids on the slide, the sound of your feet.....THAT is meditation.

We're all different, and we can all find our own path – if we bother to look for it.

For your own good, find a method that suits you and put aside a little time for meditation.

JUST BREATHE.

Yours in health,
GI JANE
